Ph.D in Islamic Studies from Universiti Malaya
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh and Good Day to all,
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the official University Health Centre (PKU) Portal. This platform serves as an essential gateway to accessing the most up-to-date and relevant health-related information, announcements, and medical services offered by our dedicated team at PKU. Whether you are a student, academician, staff member of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), or a member of the surrounding local community, this portal is designed to support your healthcare needs and well-being.
At PKU, we remain committed to delivering the highest standards of healthcare services, rooted in compassion, professionalism, and accessibility. Our mission is not only to treat illnesses but to promote a culture of proactive health awareness among all UMPians. We believe that by providing the right knowledge and tools, individuals can take charge of their own health journey, leading to a healthier and more productive life.
In alignment with the UMPSA Strategic Planning 2021–2025, one of our primary goals is to reduce the prevalence of non-communicable disease (NCD) risk factors among the UMPSA community. These include conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and other chronic illnesses that often stem from lifestyle choices. To tackle this, we aim to implement a variety of preventive health programs, educational campaigns, wellness workshops, and routine health screenings to encourage early detection and healthier habits.
I strongly encourage all UMPians—students, lecturers, and staff alike—to take an active role in safeguarding their health. Knowledge is the first step to prevention, and prevention is far more effective than cure. By engaging with our services and resources, you are investing in your long-term physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Let us work together to build a health-conscious university environment, where healthy habits are part of our culture, and where we support one another in achieving holistic wellness. Our vision is to foster not just healthy individuals, but also a vibrant, resilient, and productive UMPSA community.
I warmly welcome any comments, suggestions, or constructive feedback from all of you, as it is through your input that we can continue to improve and tailor our services to better meet your expectations. We are here to serve you, and your voice matters in shaping the future of healthcare at UMPSA.
Once again, thank you for visiting the PKU Portal. We look forward to being your trusted partner in health.
### Thank you. Stay healthy and take care.
